This fall season is leaning more towards a retro meets boho vibe and I am here for it. Below are my top 8 for this season. I own the items listed and can’t wait to mix and match with these affordable pieces.

1. Textured Coat

Starting with last year’s Coach Fall 2018 campaign, 70s style has started to creep its way back into collections. I am all here for it. One of my biggest style icons is Stevie Nicks (Go here for serious outfit inspo)

2. The Thigh High Boot

Another style that mirrors the go-go style of the early 70s. I love how you can wear these with leggings and comfy sweater and still look like you tried. I would wear these with a fitted dress and over-sized textured coat like the one above.

3. Pop of Yellow

I called it in my Fashion Week roundup. Yellow, especially honey-hued is in. I love showing pops of color in my looks. I love the idea of a marigold clutch with a maxi dress.

4. The Not So Basic Graphic Tee

This trend is all over Instagram and flooding the tee section of Revolve and Shopbop alike. These rock and roll band tees are in. I seriously can’t wait to go to my grandmother’s house and raid my dad’s stash of originals later this year. The one down side is that these babes are selling at a high price for a tee. Have no fear, I found affordable ones via Nasty Gal.

5. Multi-functional Makeup

If you read our blog, you know that we are super fans of the Glossier cult. We love how easy their products are to apply. In the fall, I am still living off of that beach tan. So, makeup is still pretty minimal. I like to use as little as possible when the seasons change too. I never know what my skin will do (I break out easily) so I use 5 products of less. Cloud Paint in Dusk mixed with Beam is my go-to. You can read my review here.

6. Angled Cat Eye Sunglasses

I love huge sunglasses, but wasn’t ready to try the trend of tiny shades. These are a perfect middle between the two. Smaller than what I am used to, but not too small. I also snagged these on clearance for $8. They are still available.

7. Hi Rise and Frayed

Levi’s Wedgie Jeans are flattering on all body types. Seriously, its been tested. I decided to try them and was impressed. These pair are the perfect amount of fray. I did have to get a size up than I usually do. These do not have any give stretch wise.

8.  Leopard Accents

I probably have 3 pairs of leopard print shoes. I keep them even when they go out of style for a bit. This is because I know they always come back in. Every 3 years or so for the last two decades leopard print shows it’s head and has a magical season.
