When I check out other lifestyle and fashion blogs, some of my favorite posts are simple round-ups where bloggers share great finds. So that’s exactly what I’m doing today – sharing 10 awesome fashion, beauty, kitchen, and decor items that should be on your radar right now.
I have actually purchased all of these things already and legit love them all. Hope you find something you love, too!
Versatile Black Fedora
I’ve always wanted to be a hat person, but until recently I was just too self-conscious to wear them. Nowadays I wear them whenever I please and am always on the hunt for my next topper, like this classic black wool fedora by Brixton. The brim is a medium width, but not too obnoxious; the material is soft, and the crown is the perfect height. Be prepared to see this all the time on my IG grid.
A Killer Denim Jacket
Y’all, this Levi’s Baggy Trucker denim jacket is the perfect oversized option. It’s got a more tapered shape so it’s not too boxy, which I feel is what happens if you just order a normal jacket in a larger size. Be warned though, size way way down on this one. I ordered an XS and you can see from my IG pix here and here that’s it’s still very slouchy.
Wear With Anything Sneakers
If you follow my IG at all, you know I love my white Superga canvas sneakers. At $65, they’re a great bargain in a classic style. I figured that since I wear these all the time, I should probably step it up to a leather version. I originally had my eye on the Palestra sneaker by M.Gemi (my husband has the men’s version in all black and loves them), but I couldn’t quite justify the price on my end. Instead, I picked up these Soludos Ibiza sneakers in white leather – it was a great idea! They are super comfy, the leather is buttery soft, and they’re so freaking versatile, I mean you can literally wear them with anything. They run TTS and bonus – find them on sale in beautiful tan or blushy nude.
The Most Relaxing Candle
I was browsing at World Market the other day when I happened upon the candle aisle. Okay okay, I walked in and made a beeline for that aisle, I can’t help myself. As I’m super serious about my candle care, this really shouldn’t be a surprise. Anyway, my newest obsession is this Pink Magnolia + Peony offering that smells so divine. I’m usually not one for a floral candle, but this has a creamy mix of delicious fruit and flowers.
Beauty On A Budget
I’ve been hot on these for awhile and use them all the time, but just realized I’ve never shared! These Que Bella Moisturizing Gel Eye Masks come 3 sets per pack and are only like $3. They’ve really become my go-to eye mask because I find they stay on better and are more effective than other pricier brands. I pick these up at Target in bulk and throw them on a few times a week while I’m blow drying or straightening my hair.
Trendy Earrings
Bex and I stopped by a DC blogger meet-up at LOFT last week and scored some fantastic deals, including this super cute pair of tortoise pull-thru hoop earrings. They are so flattering and will definitely be making the trip to San Francisco with me this week.
For A Well-Organized Kitchen
I know I’m officially an old person because the thought of a well-organized pantry is very exciting to me. These OXO Pop-up Food Storage Containers are air-tight, clear, stackable, and easy to clean. While they’re a bit pricey ($13-$20 per container), I’ve been buying 1 or 2 at a time whenever I swing by Target. You can also pick up a set of 5 or a set of 10 if you really want to get the ball rolling. Trust me, once you start tossing out half-empty pasta boxes or bags of rice, you won’t go back.
Lazy Day Haircare
Call it inspo from my niece, Sophie, but I’m seriously digging knotted headbands and head wraps, especially one like this Cara version in a pretty spring print. Or try this Tasha one in all black. They’re definitely an easy accessory to throw on over a topknot or messy pony for a bit of pizzazz, but I like them for all they ways they can hide my frizzy hair when I get lazy 😉
The Perfect Neutral Hue
Let’s be honest, during the fall and winter, my nail color of choice is my ride-or-die OPI Midnight in Moscow, and in the full heat of summer, I’m all about Essie Blanc. But in spring, I love playing with nude shades and right now I’ve got the gorgeous OPI Samoan Sand on repeat. This perfect neutral hue isn’t too yellow, too pink, or too white which makes it flattering on everyone. Stock up because it’ll be your new fave.
Metallic Kitchen Accent
My husband is serious about his food, but even more serious about his salt. He was thrilled when I surprised him with this beautiful West Elm Wood + Copper Salt Cellar. The rose gold hue on the lid goes perfectly with our kitchen accents so I love it and my husband gets to keep his Maldon Sea Salt within arms reach – it’s a win-win!
