SPRING STYLE: KIMONOS AND DUSTERS

We had a few unseasonably warm, gorgeous days and the sunny skies had me thinking about my spring wardrobe. At the top of my shopping list are printed kimonos and dusters. I love that these lightweight toppers are endlessly versatile, not to mention the major boho vibes.

On a chilly spring day, you can pair with ripped denim, ankle boots, and a cozy knit; while in warm weather, they go perfectly with shorts, sandals and a sleek cami. Bonus – kimonos and dusters also make the best swimsuit covers. Hello, fabulous poolside chic!

I found some great inspo on how to style a floral duster for warm winter days on IG thanks to Sabrina Tan (@gypsytan). What’s great about this look is that even though black is the dominant color, the espadrilles and the duster are clearly ready for spring. It’s also another example of how you can’t go wrong with the classic combo of great jeans + simple top + statement accessories.

Keep scrolling for my favorite printed, floral, and textured kimonos and dusters that would make great additions to any closet, just click the image to shop! Did I miss any of your faves? I’d love to hear your recommendations!

More Great Picks Clearly, I love a good print. Here are a few other options that might make the shopping cart.  The deep burgundy color of this velvet kimono by Anthro is gorgeous. For something a little more understated, this $35 Forever21 option has embroidered features at the shoulders only and Shein has a sheer pink kimono that’s delicious. Other stand-outs include this luxe Free People duster in mint and this sheer black and white floral duster. And of course, I can’t forget this fab palm-print H&M kimono from the featured photo above!
