As soon as I saw this photo of Tiffany Haddish in Vanity Fair, I fell in love with her fabulous outfit.
The gorgeous ivory coat, the bold statement jewelry, the elegant sweater, the plum lip – it’s all perfect. Besides just looking amazing, what’s really great about this outfit is that it’s office-appropriate while looking so freaking fierce at the same time. And considering we’re supposed to get like six more weeks of cold weather, I thought it would be fun to try and re-create this winter white ensemble with wallet-friendly finds. I would actually totally rock this look and am even looking forward to picking up a few of these pieces!
If this is a post you enjoy, let me know in the comments because I’d be happy to make this a regular feature!
Peace + love,

Building the Outfit
L-R: Mango Structured Wool Coat ($125) // H&M Knit Turtleneck Sweater ($35) // Banana Republic Wide Leg-Fit Pant ($110) // Unisa Lexha Velvet Flat ($49)
What really makes this outfit stand out is the gorgeous ivory structured coat. It’s sleek yet masculine with the wide lapels and stand-up collar. Since we’re at the end of the season this coat is a tough find, but the Mango wool coat above is the same color at a great price. What I’m really lusting after thought is this white Tom Ford belted coat (it’s literally what dreams are made of – swoon!), but this $200 ivory coat from ASOS would be beautiful as well.
A slim ivory turtleneck is a versatile winter wardrobe staple so the $35 H&M sweater is a great find. A few more options include this sleeveless turtleneck and this petite-friendly $20 sweater.
It looks like Ms. Haddish is wearing black trousers, but I swapped in this pair of high-waisted grey trousers from Banana Republic. The wide leg is flattering and grey shade is bit softer against the ivory coat and top, plus these pants just ooze confidence. Here’s a straight-leg pant option from Ann Taylor as well as a wide-leg option in black by Topshop. Need a bargain? These Style & Co. trousers from Macy’s come in a variety of colors and sizes for under $30.
For shoes, I’d normally go for a simple black pointed toe stiletto, but the pearl-embellished flats featured above are practical, feminine, and gorgeous. Still need that heel height? Own any room you enter with the statement-making Louboutin So Kate suede pumps in black.
Accessories
RMS Beauty Lipstick in Russian Roulette ($28) // Lancome Artliner Liquid Eyeliner ($30) // Slinky Cuff Bracelet ($10) // Hammered Shield Ring ($11) // Topshop Pave Cutout Ring ($14) // Twisted Front-Facing Earrings ($13)
Gold jewelry pops against the winter whites so rock everything you’ve got. A gold cuff is chic yet bold and a couple stacked bracelets would also look fabulous. Here’s a bangle set from Kate Spade and a beaded gemstone bracelet from Gorjana.
The beauty look here is all about flawless eyeliner and a perfectly plum lip color. Liquid is the best way to get that crisp liner and the Lancome Artliner is a makeup artist staple. And finish the whole outfit with this flattering dark berry lipstick from RMS Beauty.
