I have written over the years about my skin issues. I have gone on treatments as an adult to cure my cystic acne, plus I suffered from postpartum pigmentation called melasma. Shout out to Dr. Lily of Mcclean Dermatology Center for being my skincare savior.
On top of those issues I have extremely sensitive skin that can turn red from irritation easily, I’m breakout prone, I have an oily to combination profile, and large pores. On top of all of these issues I have something called UCTD which causes my body to produce less collagen than others, and I have very dark circles due to it.
I know what you are thinking, “My god she is blessed AF.”
One of the skincare items my dermatologist recommended was incorporating a retinol cream into my routine at night. It is an ingredient derived from pure vitamin A. It is used to tighten drooping skin, lighten under eye circles, ward off acne, and diminish fine lines. I signed right up.
I did my due diligence and research and bought one of the best retinols on the market. However, even with every other day usage it was still too much for my skin to handle.
Then I found LilyAna Naturals via Amazon. It is a family owned company with all-natural, vegan, and cruelty-free ingredients. I ordered their retinol cream on a whim with over 3100 reviews and a mostly 5 star rating. Plus it is only $20 so I thought what do I have to lose.
You can find it here:
Well it is safe to say that it has been 3 months and I see a huge difference in my skin. My pores are smaller, my skin is firm, hydrated, and even a few fine lines have started to dissapear. It has also evened out my complexion and faded past acne scars. I have started to leave the house wearing foundation less and I feel more confident.
Need more proof this cream is amazing? Bustle called it the “Serum to use every day of your life” as part of their top skincare products recommended by dermatologists. Plus, Byrdie called it the skincare brand to watch.
Let me know what you think? I would love to hear your thoughts on this product.
